The search that started DoorEast was a personal one. Michael Zoghzoghi was looking for a home in Lebanon and expected to do most of that work online. He had lived in Spain, London and Saudi Arabia, where property search had already moved onto platforms that made the process faster and clearer. Back in Lebanon, that shift had barely started.

So he built it. With Maria Zoghzoghi, he founded DoorEast in 2025 as an AI powered real estate marketplace for Lebanon, bringing buyers, renters, sellers and agencies onto a single platform. The site went live in January 2026.

43,000 Listings and 120 Agencies in Six Months

Six months after launch, DoorEast carries more than 43,000 property listings across Lebanon and works with 120 real estate agencies. Over the same period the platform has generated more than 30,000 qualified leads for those agency partners, and its traffic has kept growing month after month.

For an agency, that is the practical case for joining: inventory that is visible to people actively searching, and a flow of enquiries that arrive already matched to what a buyer or renter wants.

A Market That Held Its Value Through the Crisis

Lebanese property has proved unusually durable. Real estate has remained one of the safest ways for Lebanese to preserve wealth, and prices in many areas have recovered to pre-crisis levels. Zoghzoghi saw a resilient market that had absorbed very little digital innovation, and read that combination as an opening rather than a warning.

The Software Agencies Use Behind the Listings

Beyond the marketplace, the company has launched DoorEast CRM, a platform built for the agencies themselves. It covers the day to day running of a brokerage: inquiries, contacts, tasks and listings, all managed in one system. It is the second half of the same idea, since a faster search for buyers only works if the agency on the other end can keep up with it.

What Michael and Maria Are Building Toward

Zoghzoghi puts the ambition plainly. "Real estate is one of Lebanon's greatest assets, yet the industry has seen very little digital innovation," he says. "Our vision is to build the technology that makes finding, buying, renting, and selling property simpler, smarter, and more transparent for everyone."
